Travel Health
Our Physician Associate is available to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. If you are planning a trip where you may require travel vaccinations, please complete our Travel Questionnaire at least 4 weeks prior to departure. This ensures there is adequate time for vaccinations to be administered if needed.
The Practice has a limited number of appointments available for travel consultations. Please make contact with the Practice as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in us not being able to accommodate your request for advice/vaccinations due to the short time frame. Ideally you should give us 6 weeks notice prior to travelling.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below.
If you require foreign travel advice please contact the Practice. Our Physician Associate will contact you to discuss your travel vaccine requirements. You may be required to attend the treatment room for administering of your travel vaccines.
Most routine travel vaccinations are issued to patients via prescription which should be taken to the chemist for dispensing. It is your responsibility to store the vaccines in line with the manufactures guidance until they are administered by the staff nurse. When our Physician Associate is required to give advice regarding certain areas of travel and vaccinations outside normal NHS work, a charge will be made for this service.
Select the region you are travelling to find out more.
